(Octobre 1999)
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your love and prayers.
It’s holiday time.
|
Pray that our relationship
with the Father would grow,
so that we can share him with others.
|
“If only for this life
we have hope in Christ,
we are to be pitied
more than all men.
|
But Christ has indeed
been raised from the dead ..”
1 cor. 15.19-20.
|
The kids enjoyed and appreciated
Soul Survivors. Mum and dad are
recovering!
|
Continue to pray for our neighbours
Jacques & Chantal.
Christians at Havré
For the church family in Havré.
|
Pray that
we would continue to live out Jesus' live.
|
|
Students
Continue to pray for the principals, directors and
students who we meet.
|
We had about 15 students at
our barbecue on the 25th of June.
|
It went very well
and we had good contacts with them.
|
There were also former students,
girlfriends, fiancées and students’ friends.
|
Contacts in
Havré
Our friends at Havré (M & V) continue to
experience the Lord for themselves.
|
Michel had a miraculous delivrance
from a psychiatric hospital and is
back at work (all in the space of three months).
|
|
Meetings
The pastor in Jolimont is an ex-Univ. lecturer in theology) with whom John has a contact.
|
He is not longer able to
take care of the church due to personal problems.
|
John has been invited to step in and take a few
meetings.
|
Pray for contacts with the pastor and the people.
Our new neighbours are americans
|
working at the NATO base.
We hope to get to know them better
at a barbecue in the next few weeks.
|
Louise-Marie
(the catholic RE teacher)
Louise-Marie (about our age) is dying from cancer
and has treatment nearly every other day.
|
She does not have long and is focused
much on eternal things.
